Is it made from real silk?
No. Silkyy is made from a premium imitation silk fabric (92% polyester / 8% spandex). It has the smooth look and feel of silk while offering the stretch, durability, and easy care of modern performance fabrics.
Why didn't you use real silk?
Real silk wrinkles easily, requires delicate care, and isn't ideal for everyday athleisure. We chose an imitation silk performance fabric so you get the luxurious look of silk with the comfort, stretch, and durability needed for an active lifestyle.
Can I machine wash it?
Yes. Machine wash cold, preferably inside out, on a gentle cycle.
Can I put it in the dryer?
Yes. Air drying is recommended to help preserve the fabric and color, but tumble drying on low heat is also fine.
Does it stretch?
Yes. The 92% polyester / 8% spandex blend provides comfortable four-way stretch for everyday movement.
Is it breathable?
Yes. The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and designed for all-day comfort.
Will it make me hot?
No. It's designed to be lightweight and breathable, helping you stay comfortable whether you're working out or wearing it casually.
Can I work out in it?
Absolutely. Silkyy is designed as performance athleisure. It's great for the gym, walks, pickleball, travel, lounging, or everyday wear.
Will it wrinkle easily?
Much less than real silk. The performance fabric helps resist wrinkles and is easy to care for.
Is it see-through?
No. Our garments are designed to provide comfortable coverage while remaining lightweight.
How does it fit?
True to size with an athletic, relaxed fit. If you're between sizes and prefer a looser fit, consider sizing up.
Do the shorts have pockets?
- Men's shorts: Yes, two side pockets.
- Women's shorts: No pockets, for a cleaner silhouette.
Does the fabric feel slippery?
It has a smooth, silky feel but enough structure and stretch to stay comfortable during everyday movement.
